Lori Triplett is an independent singer/songwriter based out of Nashville, TN. A small town Ohio native, Lori has independently released and produced two full-length albums (“Dawn” debut album 2004, “Safe Place to Land” 2009) as well as singles, “Tennessee” (2018) and “Crooked Heart” (2017). Lori credits her interest in music to her parents, who took notice of her interest in the piano at an early age and started taking her to piano lessons at age 7. Her dad taught her the importance of great lyrics and her mom made sure she practiced the piano and never missed her weekly lessons. Lori spent many years writing and performing Christian music, and although her music still has undertones of her deeply-rooted faith, her sound has evolved into more of an alt-country, Americana style more recently. Influenced over the years by various artists and songwriters like Patty Griffin, Kate Walsh, Nichole Nordeman, Tori Amos, Lisa Loeb, Dan Fogelberg, Bethany Dillon, and Jewel, her songs are honest, intimate, vulnerable, and aim right for the heart.
